The canvas is 48" x 36" (larger than I'm accustom to painting) to go along with her huge presence. </span><span style="font-family:verdana;"><br /><br />I have a photo of her to help with the sketching on the canvas. After the drawing, I toned the canvas with a wash. After looking at the sketch, I plan to adjust Maggie's position into an action profile.<br /><br />Maggie has been a model in many of my paintings. If there has been a horse in them, she has been the model.
